A hot flash can be nothing. It can also be your cue to call a doctor.
Most of us shrug off a rough week. Dry skin, bad sleep, a mood that will not settle. Sometimes that is all it is. Sometimes the pattern is the point. That is the moment this is written for: when you are not sure which one you are in, and which local clinics you might call next.

What you will find here
We publish three ranked lists of clinics: vaginal health treatment, hormone therapy, and metabolic health. Several of the clinics also have a short review page that covers how Google lists them, what the pros and cons look like, and what to ask before you book.
The lists use one measure, stated on every page: how many hormone and metabolic therapies a clinic names on its own public web page, highest first. A longer list of therapies tells you what a clinic says it offers. It does not tell you how well it does any of it, so use the lists to build a call sheet, not to pick a winner.
Background before you call a clinic
If you want a starting point before you read about any clinic, a federal health office keeps a menopause treatment overview that covers treatment.
Sanara Medicine in Lodi heads all three lists, since its own web page names the most therapies of any clinic we read. Most of the other clinics we list are in Tracy. Before you book with any clinic, the state medical board's consumer pages are a good place to look when you want to check on a doctor.
Calling a clinic: three questions
Pick the list closest to your question and read the top few clinic pages. Then call and ask three things: what the first visit covers, what it costs, and who you will see. Write down the answers so you can compare them side by side.
When to call instead of read
General information for readers in and around Tracy and Lodi. Reading about everyday symptoms and warning signs can point you to questions for a doctor, but it cannot examine you or decide your care. If symptoms are severe or sudden, call 911 or your own doctor.
